Gia is a talented artist whose creative journey began in her high school years. With a natural inclination for the arts, she dedicated her weekends to classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she explored various disciplines, including photography, life drawing, and fashion illustration. This commitment to her craft led her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design, further enriching her artistic foundation.

After graduation, Gia discovered her passion for tattooing, a field that is known for its close-knit community and rich traditions. Undeterred by its exclusivity, she sought out mentorship from the esteemed artist BJ Betts at State Street Tattoo Gallery in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. In 2019, she began her formal education in tattooing, where she immersed herself in the fundamentals of the craft, laying the groundwork for her future endeavors.

In an unexpected turn of events, the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted her pursuits, and in April 2020, Gia faced a significant life challenge: a hemorrhagic stroke that left her right, dominant side paralyzed. Through brain surgery and months of dedicated physical therapy, she not only regained her strength but also emerged with a renewed sense of purpose and a powerful narrative of resilience.

During her recovery, Gia discovered a heartfelt desire to help others feel whole again following medical interruptions. This calling inspired her to specialize in paramedical tattooing, where she creates a sense of restoration and confidence for clients who have experienced loss. To deepen her expertise, she completed additional training at the Sauler Institute of Tattooing and the Areola Restorative Tattoo Program, equipping her with the skills to address damaged tissue and trauma area.

In 2025, Gia realized her dream by opening her private studio, Hello Healing Paramedical Tattooing, within the very shop that nurtured her artistic growth. With a focus on areola reconstruction she additionally offers transformative services that empower her clients.

During her trainings she was able to learn a how to holistically improve scar tissue damages. Needling techniques engage the bodies’ natural collagen production to visibly assist in healing scar tissue from various sources, including acne scars, surgical scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
